HC004 Air Ski

The HC004 Air Ski simulates the Nordic skiing motion. Its ability to provide a complete and intense workout, especially for the upper body, makes it highly effective for full-body high-intensity interval training (HIIT). The exercise, characterized by a continuous and fluid movement performed while standing, is challenging and particularly effective in improving muscle strength, endurance, and overall aerobic and anaerobic capacity.

The HC004 Air Ski is a professional-grade equipment designed for the gym, utilizing the same air resistance technology as the Air Row HC003, sharing some components. The resistance, generated by a fan blade system, increases disproportionately with the speed of rotation, making the workout intensity directly related to the user’s power output. The air brake system allows for airflow regulation to the fan, thus varying the resistance dynamics and workload.

Muscle Activation and Total Workout Training on the Air Ski: the athlete pulls the handles using two typical Nordic skiing techniques: double pole, where both arms are used simultaneously, or alternating, where the arm movements alternate (classic technique). The action, inherently intense and requiring significant coordination, primarily engages the upper body muscle groups and, to some extent, the lower body muscles due to the active standing position. The workout is thus comprehensive, not only in terms of strength and endurance but also in improving balance, coordination, and overall stability.

Efficiency: except for two small batteries for the CPU, the Air Ski operates without electricity, making it easy to install and move, reducing energy costs, and minimizing maintenance requirements.

Construction: Built with quality materials and a robust, heavy structure, the Air Ski ensures durability and reliability, thanks to the simplicity of its mechanical and electronic components.

Monitoring: equipped with a basic yet complete display, the Air Ski shows real-time performance metrics: RPM, time, distance, speed, calories, watts, and heart rate, along with interval training programs. It features Bluetooth and a wireless receiver.

 Delivery: the Air Ski HC004 with base – complete self-standing configuration, is delivered packed in two cartons:

1. 58x124x47 cm, weight 50 kg.

Assembly is simple, intuitive, and described in the user manual.

ATTENTION: The HC004 code identifies the complete equipment with a base, the self-standing Air Ski configuration. However, it is possible to purchase the components separately: just the equipment without the base to be mounted on a structure or wall, or just the base. Here are the codes:

• HC004: Air Ski with Floor Stand (Full Optional) – complete self-standing configuration.
• HC004/1: Air Ski wall-mounted (no Base) – equipment only without base – to be mounted on a wall.
• HC004/2: Air Ski Floor Stand (Only Base) – base only to be combined with HC004/1.
