A complete studio dumbbell set with storage
This studio dumbbell set gives a full working range in a single order. Ten matched hex pairs rise in 1kg increments from 1kg through to 10kg, and the 1156 Pyramid Weight Rack is included, so the set has somewhere to live from the moment it arrives.
Why hexagonal heads
The flat sides are the whole point. A hex dumbbell stays where you put it instead of rolling across the floor, which matters on a busy studio floor and matters more when someone sets one down mid-circuit.
The rubber coating does two further jobs. It protects flooring and bench upholstery from impact, and it cuts the noise considerably compared with bare iron or chrome. On a floor running classes above or below other training areas, that difference is noticeable.
Why 1kg increments matter
The small steps make this set work for class and rehabilitation use. The difference between a 6kg and a 7kg dumbbell is often the difference between a set being right and being wrong.
A range that jumps in 2kg or 2.5kg steps forces users to choose between too light and too heavy. This one does not.

Also available in chrome
The same 110kg configuration is available as the Chrome Weights Kit 1156/110C, which uses chrome-plated heads instead of rubber hex. Chrome suits studio floors and reception-facing areas where appearance matters most; hex is the harder-wearing choice for general commercial use.
