COMPETITION KETTLEBELL

Series of Competition Kettlebells (Gyria) with standard dimensions, which do not change with varying weight. Also known as hollow, that is hollow or empty,  precisely because of ensuring the same external dimensions, the weight is obtained by gradually filling the empty part inside the tool.

Each kettlebell in this series is only painted  on the spherical part, while the handle is carefully sanded and finished with a transparent anti-rust protective in such a way as to obtain a grip equal to that of the unpainted metal. The socket is rectangular in shape, ie regular; straight on the horizontal part and in the two uprights, diameter 33 mm in each part. 33 mm in diameter (the Olympic barbell measures 28 mm in diameter)  this represents the best compromise between effectiveness in the grip (good “hand twisting”) and comfort (so-called “grip that does not cut”). The distance between the handle and the spherical part has been reduced for some years to 60 mm, to reduce the “leverage effect”, while the width is 128 mm, in such a way as to also allow optimal use of the kettlebells for athletes with large hands and above all, providing the best execution for two-handed exercises

The 4 kg model (code 2189), for maintaining  standard dimensions, is made in aluminum.
